CITY OF BLUE SPRINGS, MISSOURI MINUTES OF BUDGET WORK SESSION AUGUST 12, 2020 A Budget Work Session of the City Council of the City of Blue Springs, Missouri, was held on Wednesday, August 12, 2020, 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Public Safety Building , 1100 SW Smith Street, with Mayor Carson Ross presiding. Face coverings were required pursuant to Order of the Jackson County Health Director dated July 1, 2020, and Phase 2.5 of the Eastern Jackson County Recovery Plan . COUNCILMEMBERS Jerry Kaylor Galen Ericson IN ATTENDANCE Chris Lievsay Kent Edmondson Ron Fowler Susan Culpepper Mayor Ross CALL MEETING Mayor Ross called the City Council Budget Work Session to order at 6:00 TO ORDER p.m. BUDGET City Administrator Eric Johnson and Assistant City Adm inistrator Christine Cates presented the highlights of the FY 2020-21 Budget for Council consideration. A copy of the Budget Message and Monthly Revenue Reporting through July 31 , 2020 are attached to these Minutes and incorporated herein.
