CITY OF BLUE SPRINGS, MISSOURI MINUTES OF SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING SEPTEMBER 21, 2023 A Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Blue Springs, Missouri, was held on Thursday, September 21, 2023, 4:30 p.m. in the Administration Training Room of Blue Springs City Hall, 903 W Main Street, with Mayor Carson Ross presiding. COUNCILMEMBERS IN Jerry Kaylor Galen Ericson ATTENDANCE Chris Lievsay Kent Edmondson Ron Fowler Susan Culpepper CALL MEETING TO Mayor Ross called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m. ORDER MOTION TO DIRECT After Council discussion, Councilmember Lievsay moved to direct STAFF TO PUBLISH staff to publish a Press Release regarding a lawsuit over the 2023 PRESS RELEASE Property Tax Assessments approved in the September 18, 2023 REGARDING Executive Session relating Litigation (RSMo.610.021 (1 )). A copy of LITIGATION the Press Release is attached to these Minutes and incorporated herein. Motion seconded by Councilmember Culpepper and carried with the following votes: Kaylor-Aye Ericson -Aye Lievsay - Aye Edmondson - Aye Fowler-Aye Culpepper - Aye Mayor Ross - Aye ADJOURNMENT At 4:41 p.m., there was no further business to come before the Council, Mayor Ross adjourned the meeting.
