Main, Room 210, Blue Springs, Missouri, with Tom Cole, Community & Economic Development Director presiding. COUNCIL Justin Beal Cindy Miller MEMBERS Kim Deveney Becky Nace PRESENT Jeff Grote Tom Rohr - absent Kathy Hunter Kirk Sampson - absent James McCullough Lara Vermillion Dave Meyer - absent Joey Zarrillo Brett Miller - absent Councilmember Susan Culpepper Also present were Community & Economic Development Director – Tom Cole and Economic Development Coordinator - Teresa Evans. CALL MEETING Community & Economic Development Director Tom Cole called the Economic TO ORDER Development Council meeting to order at 8:04 a.m. APPROVAL OF Councilmember Grote moved to approve the minutes of March 7, 2019. MINUTES Economic Development Council meeting. Motion seconded by Councilmember Hunter and carried with the following votes: Councilmember Beal - Aye Councilmember Cindy Miller – Aye Councilmember Deveney – Aye Councilmember Nace - Aye Councilmember Grote - Aye Councilmember Rohr – Absent Councilmember Hunter - Aye Councilmember Vermillion – Aye Councilmember McCullough - Aye Councilmember Zarrillo - Aye Councilmember Meyer – Absent Councilmember Sampson – Absent Councilmember Brent Miller - Aye PROJECT AND Tom Cole, Director of Community & Economic Development and Teresa DEVELOPMENT Evans, Economic Development Coordinator provided an update on project UPDATE and activity updates. Councilmembers posed some clarifying questions related to the projects which were addressed by city staff present. 2 April 17, 2019 Economic Development Council Page 2 OTHER BUSINESS Mr. Cole shared insights on housing affordability ad availability in correlation to findings from the CHAT study. VISITORS No visitors present. ADJOURNMENT At 8:46 a.m. there was no further business to come before the Economic Development Council; Councilmember Grote moved the meeting be adjourned.
