Staff: Matt Asikainen Justin reviewed the Fees and Charges chances for both the Parks and Recreation division and Fieldhouse. Parks and Recreation division had changes regarding Vesper Hall Rentals, Adult Leagues, Youth Sports and Vesper Hall general programming. Most of these changes were due to the addition of new programs specifically our Youth Sports programs. Additionally, prices have changed for the various amenities you can rent while renting out Vesper Hall. Overall, most of the facility/equipment rentals and programs have stayed the same from previous years. The Fieldhouse division also saw some changes with their Fees and Charges. The biggest change is the addition of Fieldhouse Non-Member personal training prices. Dena asked what this change was for. Justin stated that currently we only offer pricing for Members. There have been some Non-Members who wish to utilize our Personal Training services, but don’t necessarily want to purchase a membership. There were no changes to Fieldhouse membership pricing. The commission asked Dennis if this would be something that we need to look at increasing. Dennis explained that this will not need to be addressed for a few years. But, with the minimum wage increase, and facility repairs that will need to be addressed, this is something that may need to taken into consideration. As there was no further business, a motion to approve the new Fees and Charges was made by Dena Duhon and seconded by George Deibert.
