These installations were completed. 1. We looked at an initial design for the plaque for “Breath” and made some suggestions. We will probably arrange for a plaque from MVP Awards but want to talk to Parks about how the plaque will be installed since the base is round. We expect Mid Continent Library to have a dedication sometime in early summer (after landscape plantings are in place and tree has been removed). 2. We liked the placement of “The Ultimate Truth”, thinking it is right-sized for the site, Contract for restoration of “BlueSprings.Net” 1. Steve informed Eleanor that the contract had been signed by Administration and sent to Megalabs. Meg wrote Steve that they are giving the job “priority over all other 2017 outdoor restorations”. 2. Ramon asked if the contract included the additional cost of preparation for the third color of paint (cleaning the paint container and gun). Eleanor will check with Steve as to contract. “Remnants Restored” . No additional information. Grants 1. Eleanor has heard from MACAA that they are holding our grant money until we confirm we have placed our print job for “Public Art in Blue Springs”. 2. Eleanor plans to write for a monthly grant from MAC and from THCF to help support the cost of printing. 3. Grants are expected from Hallmark Foundation and State Farm Foundation to help support PAC Signatures for Plaques. We are awaiting signatures from Cecilia Lueza, Beth Nybeck, and Karl Salitar.
