Justin Stuart indicated previously that he would join us as committee member on a time available basis. An overview of our mission and plan was provided to Kelly. 4 Greta, Larry, Ramon and Jeff provided updates regarding each of their efforts to reach “decision makers” at each of their assigned businesses, organizations, and individuals to be on our task force. 5 Ramon provided his findings about a tax deductible status method of contribution acceptance that can be directed at specific public art projects within Blue Springs. Per the city budget department, a funding mechanism is possible via “Grow Blue Springs” at the GKC Foundation. 6 Ramon will be using a simplified project management “Gant Chart” to keep this multifaceted and time sensitive plan on track. Each activity will be divided into achievable tasks with a timetable for completion established by each responsible member. This will ensure that the task force members are all on the same page and have a visual of the progress towards success.
