Public Notice City of Blue Springs, Missouri Community Development Block Grant Substantial Amendment to 2011-2016 Consolidated Plan and 2014-2015 Annual Action Plan The City of Blue Springs is proposing a Substantial Amendment to the CDBG 2011-2016 Consolidated Plan and 2014-2015 Annual Action Plan. The Substantial Amendment describes the specific activities that the City will amend from previously approved plans. The purpose of this Notice is to invite the public to a public hearing and provide input on the Substantial Amendment. The proposed Substantial Amendment is to include Public Service requests into the Consolidated Plan goals. The City will hold a public meeting on December 15, 2014. The City shall consider the views of citizens, public agencies and other interested parties in preparing its final submission and attach a summary of such comments as they relate to the plan. The City Council will hold a second public hearing following a 30 day public comment period and consider the Substantial Amendment. The Substantial Amendment will then be submitted to HUD for their review and approval. City Council Monday, December 15, 2014 6:30 PM Municipal Annex 1304 W. Main Street, Blue Springs, MO.
