PUBLIC NOTICE CITY OF BLUE SPRINGS CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PROGRAM FY 2020-2021 to 2024-2025 Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the City Council of the City of Blue Springs on Monday May 18, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. in the Howard L. Brown Public Safety Building located at 1100 SW Smith Street, Blue Springs, MO. POTENTIAL ALTERNATE HEARING LOCATION As of the date of the publication of this notice for public hearing, due to COVID-19 restrictions, the City is under State and County States of Emergency and a Jackson County Stay at Home Health Order, which Order expires on May 15, 2020. If, on the date of the public hearing, the City is under continued public gathering and social distancing restrictions, the public hearing will be held via teleconference. Full instructions for participating in the teleconference call and testifying at the public hearing will be provided on the City’s website, www.bluespringsgov.com, and on the meeting agenda. If you are unable to participate via teleconference, written comments may be mailed to the City of Blue Springs (903 W. Main St., Blue Springs, MO 64015 / Attn. Community Development) or emailed to CityClerk@bluespringsgov.com, but must be received by Noon on Monday, May 18, 2020 to be included in the public hearing. Emailed comments must include ”PUBLIC COMMENT: CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PROGRAM” as the subject line.
