Brown Public Safety Building located at 1100 SW Smith Street, Blue Springs, MO. ALTERNATE HEARING LOCATION: If, on the date of the public hearing, the City is under public gathering and personal distancing restrictions, the public hearing will be held via teleconference. The purpose of this meeting is to hear interested parties and citizens on a request by the applicant, City of Blue Springs – Economic Development Staff, on behalf of the property owner, Triad Investment Properties, LLC, to Rezone (RZ-07-20-7383) the property located at 2209 SW Westbound US 40 Highway, which is generally located on the north side of Westbound US 40 Highway in between Quarry Road and SW 19th Street. The City’s Economic Development Staff is requesting the approval to rezone the approx. 3.25 +/- acre site from “GB” (General Business) and “SF-7” (Single-Family) to “RC” (Regional Commercial).
