PUBLIC NOTICE General Development Plan | GDP-06-21-7823 “Franklin Smith Elementary” Addition 1609 SW Clark Road Parcel # 42-110-21-06-01-0-00-000 Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Planning Commission of the City of Blue Springs on Monday, July 12, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room of the Howard L. Brown Public Safety Facility at 1100 SW Smith for the purpose of hearing interested parties and citizens on a request by the applicant, Jon Red Corn, Hollis+Miller Architects, on behalf of the property owner, Blue Springs R-IV School District, to add-on approximately 7,780 square feet and renovate the interior of Franklin Smith Elementary School at 1609 SW Clark Road. The site is legally described as follows: Beginning at a point 417.44 feet west of the southeast corner and on the south line of the Southwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 1, Township 48, Range 31, Jackson County, Missouri; thence South 89 degrees 28 minutes West along the south line of said 1/4 1/4 Section, 909.11 feet; thence north along the west line of said 1/4 1/4 Section 624.0 feet; thence North 89 degrees 28 minutes East 1326.55 feet to a point on the east line of said 1/4 1/4 Section; thence South along the said East line, 206.56 feet; thence South 89 degrees 28 minutes West 417.44 feet; thence South and parallel with the East line of said 1/4 1/4 Section, 417.44 feet to the point of beginning, EXCEPTING the South 25.0 feet thereof in public road.
