CITY OF BLUFFDALE NOTICE OF SOLICITATION STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS The City of Bluffdale is seeking a STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS from contractors that would like to pre-qualify to submit bids for the construction of the Zone 1W – 4 MG Drinking Water Tank Project. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The work is comprised of the construction of a water-tight tendon reinforced concrete structure with a 4.0 million gallon capacity; valve vault with piping, valves, etc.; meter vault with connection to existing 66-inch diameter JVWCD steel transmission pipeline, with all piping, valves, etc.; tank inlet/outlet piping; tank emergency overflow piping with boxes and piping; stormwater inlet boxes; site work including: grading, asphalt, fencing, curb and gutter, and landscaping. The project includes electrical work associated with the valve vault and meter vault, connections to and electrical work associated with the valve vault, telemetry wiring, RTU and a Security Camera System. Piping shall include connections to the existing systems. A temporary 12-foot retaining wall will be required at the base of the excavation for the tank along the entire western side of the tank to protect an existing canal located along the western edge of the Bluffdale City property. It is anticipated that the project will be bid in October and the construction will begin late November. Only Contractors who are pre-qualified by the City of Bluffdale will be allowed to submit bids for the project. All updates, including addendums and answers to inquiries will be made on SciQuest. The Contractor is responsible for getting all updates on SciQuest. All questions must be asked and will only be answered on SciQuest.
