City of Bluffdale – Porter Rockwell Boulevard Segments 4 & 5 – Water Line & Street Lighting Section 00 22 00 – Advertisement for Bids 2021 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Owner: CITY OF BLUFFDALE Address: 2222 West 14400 South BLUFFDALE, UT 84065 The City of Bluffdale is seeking qualified contractors to complete the Porter Rockwell Boulevard Segments 4 & 5 – Water Line & Street Lighting project. Project No. COB20003RD. Bids are to be submitted electronically through a secure mailbox on the U3P website (formerly SciQuest) until 2:00 pm (MST), Thursday, January 21, 2021. Bids will require the uploading of attachments. All attached documents shall be labeled and uploaded as separate files. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid shall be submitted electronically through U3P with the bid. It shall be the sole responsibility of the bidder to upload all required documents to the U3P website prior to the deadline. Any bids sent through means other than the U3P website will not be accepted. Note that bids submitted before the deadline are not accessible by the City. The principal items of work in the Porter Rockwell Boulevard Segments 4 & 5 – Water Line & Street Lighting project are approximately as follows: Furnish all labor, equipment and materials required to install a new water line, along with the installation of decorative street lighting, according to plans, City standards and specifications. All construction MUST be coordinated with UDOT and its contractor. Note that is a phased project. Phase one includes all work up to Station No. 117+00 and then from Station No. 132+00 to the end (Harmon Day Drive). Phase two starts at Station 117+00 and ends at 132+00 (except for the Porter Rockwell Bridge) and will BEGIN once construction of curb, gutter, sidewalk and road pavement are complete. This is expected to occur before March 1, 2022. Procure a copy of the plans on U3P. All updates, including addendums and answer to inquiries will be made on U3P.
