City of Bluffdale – On Call City Water Works Section 00 22 00 – Advertisement for Bids 2021 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Owner: CITY OF BLUFFDALE Address: 2222 West 14400 South BLUFFDALE, UT 84065 The City of Bluffdale is seeking qualified contractors to complete On Call City Water Works. (Project No. COB21005WS). Bids are to be submitted electronically through a secure mailbox on the U3P website (formerly SciQuest) until 2:00 pm (local time), Thursday June 17, 2021. To submit bid, upload all bidding documents listed. All attached documents shall be labeled and uploaded as separate files. As part of the bid, submit a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid electronically through U3P. Submit all required documents through U3P prior to the deadline. Any bids sent through means other than the U3P website will not be accepted. The City will not accept any bids submitted after the deadline. Contact sciquestadmin@utah.gov if you have questions on how to use the U3P program, including how to submit a bid. The principal items of work are approximately as follows: Provide on-call services; including labor, materials, resources and incidentals for general plumbing work. Work includes, but is not limited to installing water service lateral, water meter box and assembly installation, repairs of water lines, repairs of water services including all appurtenant items such as ground or pavement restoration. This is a one-year contract renewable up to a maximum of five years. Procure a copy of the bid package on U3P. All updates, including addendums and answers to inquiries will be made on U3P. All questions must be asked through the U3P site. The Contractor is responsible for getting all the updates on U3P before bidding the project. All BIDDERS are required to have payment and performance bonds underwritten by a Surety Company approved by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. (Circular 570, latest edition). Bluffdale City Corporation reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, or any part of any proposal, including the right to waive any informalities in any part of any proposal within the best interest of Bluffdale City.
