BOARD OF CANVASSERS OF THE CITY OF BLUFFDALE, UT AH RESOLUTION NO. 2021-52 A RESOLUTION CERTIFYING THE CANVASS OF THE 2021 CITY OF BLUFFDALE MUNICIPAL GENERAL ELECTION WHEREAS pursuant to Utah Code Ann. § 20A-4-30 1(2)(a), the Mayor and the Municipal Legis lative Body constitutes the Board of Canvassers of the City of Bluffdale, WHEREAS on November 16, 202 1, the Board met to canvass the e lection returns of the 202 I C ity of Bluffdale Municipal General Election held November 2, 202 1, WHEREAS the election returns for each voting precinct have been received and counted by the Salt Lake County C lerk 's Office, Election Division, and WHEREAS the Board publi cly canvassed the returns and determined fro m them the vote of each voting precinct for each candidate. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Canvassers of the C ity of Bluffdale, Utah, as fo llows: Section 1. The City Council , as the official Board of Canvassers, hereby accepts and approves the attached report entitled "Official Final Election Results - 2021 General Election" for the 2021 City of Bluffdale Municipal General Election held November 2, 202 1. Section 2. Aston 1472 City Council Member At Large Seat #2 - Four Year Term Traci Crockett 165 1 The City Recorder is authorized and directed to deliver a "Ce1i ificate of Election'· to the said candidates. Section 4. For purposes of Utah Code Am, . § 20A-4-304, the Certified Repo1i of the E lection Results when signed by the election officer and by the members of the Board of Canvassers, shall be fi led as indicated below. The City Recorder is authorized and directed to: (i) Record o r fi le the certified report in a book kept for that purpose; (ii) Prepare and transmit a certificate of nominatio n o r election under the officer's seal to each elected candidate; (iii) Publish a copy of the certified report in a newspaper of general circulation in the Board 's jurisdiction, or if no newspaper is p ublished w ithin the Board's jurisdiction, post the same in a conspicuous place within the jurisdiction ; and (iv) File a copy of the ce1tified repo rt with the Lieutenant Governor. Section 5. T his Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its passage.
