PROCEEDINGS OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE COURT OF BOSSIER CITY STATE OF LOUISIANA TAKEN AT A REGULAR MEETING MARCH 8, 2022 The Administrative Court of the City of Bossier City, State of Louisiana, met March 8, 2022, at 3:30 PM. Invocation was given by Council Member Jeffery Darby Pledge of Allegiance led by Council Member Chris Smith Roll Call as follows: Present: Honorable, Chairman Don Williams, Honorable Councilors Jeffery Darby, and Chris Smith Also Present: Assistant City Attorney, Richard Ray and City Clerk, Phyllis McGraw By: Mr. Darby Motion to approve minutes of the January 11, 2022, Administrative Court proceedings. Seconded by Mr. Smith No comment Vote in favor of motion is unanimous By: Mr. Darby Motion to approve Agenda. Seconded by Mr. Smith No comment Vote in favor of motion is unanimous Agenda Item called – Hearing to review the recommendation of removal of a dilapidated structure located at 1268 Dudley Lane, Bossier City, LA Steve Glass, Property Standards updated board on changes since item was last on the agenda By: Mr. Williams Motion to remove the item from Agenda. Seconded by Mr. Darby No comment Vote in favor of motion is unanimous Agenda Item called – Hearing to review the recommendation of removal of a dilapidated structure located at 1151 Dudley Lane, Bossier City, LA Steve Glass, Property Standards went over steps taken to get to meeting today. City appointed attorney Robert Pugh spoke on process in locating and notifying owner. New property owner Victor Perez asked for a little more time. He will demolish By: Mr. Darby Motion to approve recommended condemnation and give new owners 60 days to demolish or the City will do it. Seconded by Mr. Williams No comment Vote in favor of motion is unanimous Agenda Item called – Blight Hearing for 1200 Schex Drive, Bossier City, LA Property Standards, Steve Glass went over condition of property and steps leading up to this hearing.
