PROCEEDINGS OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE COURT OF BOSSIER CITY STATE OF LOUISIANA TAKEN AT A REGULAR MEETING JULY 12, 2022 The Administrative Court of the City of Bossier City, State of Louisiana, met July 12, 2022, at 3:00 PM. Invocation was given by Council Member Jeffery Darby Pledge of Allegiance led by Council Member Don Williams Roll Call as follows: Present: Honorable, Chairman Don Williams, Honorable Councilors Jeffery Darby, and Chris Smith Also Present: Assistant City Attorney, Richard Ray and City Clerk, Phyllis McGraw By: Mr. Smith Motion to approve minutes of the June 14, 2022, Administrative Court proceedings. Seconded by Mr. Darby No comment Vote in favor of motion is unanimous By: Mr. Smith Motion to approve Agenda. Seconded by Mr. Darby No comment Vote in favor of motion is unanimous Agenda Item called – Hearing to review the recommendation of removal of a dilapidated structure located at 2643 Trichel Street, Bossier City, LA Property Standards Officer, Chris Ferguson spoke on the issues with the case. City appointed attorney, Gahagan Pugh reported that he was able to notify the owners. Linda Cooper spoke on issue and respect whatever Board decides. By: Mr. Williams Motion to demolish as soon as legally possible. Seconded by Mr. Smith No comment Vote in favor of motion is unanimous Agenda Item called – Blight Hearing for – 4004 Wayne Ave, Bossier City, LA Property Standards Officer, Chris Ferguson spoke on case. Barbara and Jerry Campbell asked for a little more time. By: Mr. Darby Motion to declare rest of yard clutter as junk and suspend the sentence of removal for 30 days.
