SPECIAL MEETING of the BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS CITY OF BOWLING GREEN, KENTUCKY December 9, 2003, 1:30 p.m. I, Mayor Sandy Jones of the City of Bowling Green, Kentucky, pursuant to KRS 83A.150(4), do hereby call a special meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Bowling Green, Kentucky beginning at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 9, 2003 in the Commission Chamber at Bowling Green City Hall, 1001 College Street, for the following: CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL CITY MANAGER COMMENTS 1. Ordinance No. BG2003 – 66 ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF (Second Reading) GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS An Ordinance of the City of Bowling Green, Kentucky providing for the issuance of the City's General Obligation Bonds, Series 2003, for the purpose of providing funds necessary to advance refund the outstanding Mortgage Revenue Bonds, Series 1993, of The Convention Center Corporation; setting forth the terms and conditions upon which the Series 2003 Bonds are to be issued and outstanding; providing for the payment and retirement of the Series 1993 Bonds being refunded; ordering and providing for the levy of an annual tax to the extent necessary, sufficient to pay the interest on and principal of the Series 2003 Bonds; and providing for a public sale of the Series 2003 Bonds and the application of the proceeds thereof 2. Municipal Order No. 2003 – 278 Municipal Order authorizing a professional services contract with Harper, Ferguson & Davis, a Division of Ogden, Newell & Welch PLLC, as bond counsel for refinancing of The Convention Center Corporation Bonds and authorizing waiver of legal fee restriction for work on Diddle Arena tax matters (Filed 12/03/2003, 1:10 p.m.) 3.
