MINUTES of SPECIAL WORK SESSION MEETING of the BOARD of COMMISSIONERS of the CITY of BOWLING GREEN, KENTUCKY held FEBRUARY 23, 2005 The Board of Commissioners of the City of Bowling Green, Kentucky met in special session in the Commission Chamber of City Hall, Bowling Green, Kentucky at 4:00 p.m. on February 23, 2005. Mayor Elaine N. Walker called the meeting to order, and the following members were present: Commissioner Mark D. Alcott, Commissioner Slim Nash, Commissioner Delane Simpson, Commissioner Brian K. Strow and Mayor Elaine N. Walker. Absent: none. There was a full quorum of the Board of Commissioners. WORK SESSION City Manager Charles W. Coates stated that this special work session was for the purpose of reviewing and discussing budget priorities for Fiscal Year 2006. Each member of the Board was given an opportunity to list his/her priority projects for the upcoming year, which staff will then determine the cost associated with each project to determine if affordable given the budgetary limitations. Mr. Coates also stated that more work sessions regarding the budget will be scheduled and that he will work with them to provide the budget information in an acceptable format. ADJOURNMENT This being a special work session with no action permitted and with no further business to come before the Board of Commissioners, at approximately 4:45 p.m., Mayor Walker declared this meeting adjourned.
