Municipal Order No. 2023 – 261 Municipal Order approving the promotion of Madison Duncan to the position of Adaptive Recreation Supervisor in the Parks and Recreation Department 2. Municipal Order No. 2023 – 262 Municipal Order approving the Career Path Advancement of Doug Hoots to the position of Operations Technician II in the Public Works Department 3. Municipal Order No. 2023 – 263 Municipal Order authorizing the acceptance of a grant through the 2023 Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) Hiring Program from the U.S. Department of Justice in the amount of $500,000 4. Municipal Order No. 2023 – 264 Municipal Order authorizing the submission of a grant application to the Kentucky Division of Emergency Management for Kentucky Hazard Mitigation Grant Program funds in an amount up to $1,086,750 for the construction of tornado shelters 5. Municipal Order No. 2023 – 265 Municipal Order authorizing and directing the Mayor to enter into grant agreements for Flexible Neighborhood Grants with various organizations (Agenda-November 21, 2023) 6. Municipal Order No. 2023 – 266 Municipal Order approving an energy savings contract with Trane, U.S. Inc. of Louisville, Kentucky in an amount not to exceed $2,772,000 through Omnia Partners Cooperative Purchasing Contract 7. Municipal Order No. 2023 – 267 Municipal Order authorizing Change Order No. Two to the contract with Scott, Murphy & Daniel of Bowling Green, Kentucky for Fire Station #5 and Training Center construction project in the amount of $900,000, for a total project cost of $17,608,963 8. Ordinance No. BG2023 – 34 ORDINANCE REZONING REAL ESTATE (First Reading – Non-Binding) Ordinance rezoning a tract of land containing 10.45 acres from HB (Highway Business) and LI (Light Industrial) to LI (Light Industrial) located at 6449 Nashville Road presently owned by J.G.L. Properties, LLC 9. Ordinance No. BG2023 – 31 ORDINANCE REZONING REAL ESTATE (Second Reading – Binding) Ordinance rezoning a portion of abandoned CSX railroad right-of-way from HI (Heavy Industrial) to RM-3 (Townhouse/Multi-Family Residential) and LI (Light Industrial) located along Barry Street between Veterans Memorial Lane and Nugent Street presently owned by St. Joseph Catholic Church of Bowling Green, Inc. 10. Ordinance No. BG2023 – 32 ORDINANCE REZONING REAL ESTATE (Second Reading – Binding) Ordinance rezoning a portion of a tract of land containing 0.9876 acre from HB (Highway Business) to RM-4 (Multi- Family Residential) located at 5421 Scottsville Road presently owned by Southern Comfort Apartments, LLC 11.
