Boyne Heritage Center Presentation Presentation from Heritage Center Board Chair Kecia Freed B. Public Hearing Michigan Department of Natural Resources Trust Fund Grants C. Michigan Department of Natural Resources Trust Fund Grant Application: Open Space Phases 2 & 4B Improvements Consider the recommendation from the Parks and Recreation Board to approve submitting an application to the Michigan Department of Natural Resources Trust Fund in the amount of $300,000, commit to the project match of $140,000, adopt the accompanying resolution as presented, and authorize the City Manager to execute any necessary documents to secure the funds. D. Michigan Department of Natural Resources Recreation Passport Grant Application Open Space Phase 4A Improvements Consider the recommendation from the Parks and Recreation Board to approve submitting an application to the Michigan Department of Natural Resources Recreation Passport Grant Program in the amount of $104,000, commit to the project match of $56,000, adopt the accompanying resolution as presented, and authorize the City Manager to execute any necessary documents to secure the funds. E. Marina Improvements / Waterways Grant Applications Consider the recommendation from Executive Assistant/Harbormaster Barb Brooks to approve moving forward with three separate MDNR Waterways grant applications for Landside Utilities in an amount of up to $262,200, Wave Attenuators A3 & A4 in the amount of up to $514,130, and Dock E Replacement plus Utilities in the amount of up to $195,980 and authorize the City Manager to sign and submit all the necessary documents. F. DDA Membership Consider to approve Mayor Hugh Conklin’s designation of Commissioner Marty Moody as his designee on the DDA Board for a term until replacement by him or a future Mayor, while serving as a Commissioner. G. FYE 2023 Budget Presentation Presentation of proposed FYE City Budget by City Manager Michael Cain H. Budget Work Session Times Consider the recommendation from City Manager Michael Cain to schedule the Thursday, March 24, 2022 Budget Overview work session to start at noon and that the Monday, March 28, 2022 all day Budget work session begin at 8:00 a.m., both to be held in the City Hall Parkview room with further dates and times to be set later, as needed. 10. ANNOUNCEMENTS  The Short Term Rental meeting is scheduled for April 7, 2022 at 5:30 p.m.  The next regular City Commission meeting is scheduled for April 12, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. 12.
