Leadership Charlevoix County – Trail Connection Route Signage Approval Consider approving the Trail Connection Route Signage proposal from Leadership Charlevoix County and authorize them to proceed with its installation as recommended by Boyne City’s Park and Recreation Commission and staff. 9. NEW BUSINESS A. Marina Engineering Proposal Consider the recommendation from City Manager Michael Cain to approve the June 7, 2023 Proposal for Consulting Services from Abonmarche for the estimated maximum fee of $198,500 subject to the provision that if at any point the project becomes untenable the City reserves the right to work with Abonmarche to modify the agreement or failing that terminate it, paying Abonmarche for services rendered to that point. B. Front Street Road Improvement Engineering Services Consider the recommendation from City Manager Michael Cain to approve the proposal from C2AE for Professional Services for the Front Street Crush and Shape project as proposed at an estimated total of $40,500. C. River Mouth Pump Station Change Orders Consider the recommendation from City Manager Michael Cain to approve Change Order #3 for the River Mouth Pump Station Improvements project in the amount of $12,219 bringing the project total to $577,169. D. Airport Terminal Furniture Consider the recommendation of the Airport Advisory Board to purchase two recliners for the Airport Terminal from Reid Furniture of Petoskey at a cost of $2,618. E. Aerial Truck Lighting Repair/Replacement Consider the recommendation from Fire Chief Dennis Amesbury to approve the contract from CSI Emergency Apparatus, LLC for an amount not to exceed $4,748.00 and to authorize City Manager to execute the necessary documents. F. Granicus Address Identification Contract Proposal Consider the recommendation from Planning Director Scott McPherson to approve the proposal from Granicus for a one-year contract for short term rental address identification services for a total price of $7,078.63. G. 2023 Pavement Marking Services Contract Award Recommendation Consider the recommendation from Director of Public Works and Utilities Doug Varney to award a Purchase Order contract with PK Contracting, Inc. for the 2023 Pavement Marking Services in an amount not-to-exceed $42,206.58 and to authorize the City Manager to execute the necessary documents. H. Revitalization and Placemaking (RAP) 2.0 Grant Opportunity Consider options for this round of RAP funding and determine if any are viable at this time. I. Closed Session Request Consider the request from City Manager Michael Cain to go into closed session for discussion of collective bargaining strategy as provided in MCL 15.323 (a) of the Michigan Open Meetings Act (PA 317 of 1976) 10.
