Appoint Brian Taylor and Brooke Nemchak to the Planning Commission for three year terms ending May 31, 2028 F. Approve Amendment No. 1 to the City of Boyne City Drinking Water Asset Management (DWAM) Agreement for additional engineering services and authorize the request to the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) for a grant end date extension to July 15, 2026, as presented; and further authorize the City Manager and/or City Clerk/Treasurer to execute all necessary documents. 5. Alarm Monitoring – Summary and Recommendation Consider the recommendation from Boyne City Fire Chief, Dennis Amesbury and Executive Assistant, Jennifer Eads to accept the proposals from Summit Fire Protection for the following services: 1. Cell dialer installation at the City Hall Building, the Pavilion, and the DPW Building, for a one- time total cost not to exceed $1,500. 2. Alarm monitoring services at the City Hall Building, the Pavilion, and the DPW Building, for a total amount not to exceed $2,340 for year one, for a three (3) year term with an annual increase of up to 5%, to expire three years from the date of contract signature. 3. Fire alarm testing and wet sprinkler system inspection at the City Hall Building, the Pavilion, the DPW Building, and the Water/Wastewater Building, for a total amount not to exceed $2,981 for year one, for a three (3) year term with an annual increase of up to 5%, to expire three years from the date of contract signature. Authorizing the City Clerk/Treasurer and/or City Manager to execute the necessary documents. B. City of Boyne City Purchase Policy Consider the recommendation from City Clerk/Treasurer, Jessica Puroll to approve to adopt the City of Boyne City Purchasing Policy as presented. C. Field of Dreams Ball Park Consider the recommendation from City Manager, John Matthews to accept the quote from Consumers Energy to install the sub-panel at the location identified in the attached site plan drawing in an amount not to exceed $25,655.00, authorizing the City Clerk and/or City Manager to execute the necessary documents. D. Proposed Staffing Adjustments and Compensation Change for EMS Department Consider the recommendation from EMS Director, Brenda Willson to approve the addition of one full- time Paramedic at $26/hour and authorize the proposed adjustment to the EMS Director’s compensation as presented. 11. ANNOUNCEMENTS • Boyne City Trick or Treat hours are from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, October 31, 2025 • The City-Wide General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. • The next regular City Commission meeting is scheduled for November 11, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. 13.
