Collector to issue a refund to Zippo Manufacturing Co., in the amount of $12,505.91 for City taxes, stated
in a letter from McKean Co. Assessment Office.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the taxpayer is requesting a refund for overpayment of taxes under
Chapter 88 Consolidated County Assessment, Chapter B, section 8816-Clerical and Mathematical Errors
by the McKean County Assessment Office.

RESOLVED, By the City Council of the City of Bradford, that
WHEREAS, the University of Pittsburgh of the Commonwealth System of Higher Education (University)
desires to obtain RACP funding through McKean County for the Hanley Library Renovation project; and;
WHEREAS, the Office of Economic and Community Development (OECD) of the City of Bradford
(City) will assist with the preparation of a business plan and application; and provide grant administration
throughout the project; and
WHEREAS, the OECD has prepared an Administrative Agreement between the City, County and
University which outlines the duties and responsibilities of the city.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the proper officers of the City of Bradford are authorized
to execute an Administrative Agreement with the University and McKean County for the Hanley Library
Renovation project at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford.
AUTHORIZE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT FOR JANITORIAL SERVICES WITH

Treasurer, dated January 7, 2024, together with attached documentation from the City Treasurer's Office,
the proper officers hereby exonerate the City Treasurer from collecting $8,955.00 in 2024 City Per Capita
Taxes.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that $6,110.00 will be certified by the City Solicitor for collection. After
a diligent effort to collect these taxes, the balance of $2,845.00 has been deemed uncollectable by the City
Treasurer.
