AGENDA ITEMS
1. Community Health Problem Concerning Rat Infestation. A representative from the
County Health Department will be present to hear comments and offer feedback.
2. Initial Discussion Concerning Brentwood Becoming a Sanctuary City. Mayor and
Council will make statements and outline a path forward for continuing the discussion.
3. Use of Official Email Addresses and Town Communication Policy. The Mayor and
Council will discuss if there will be official policy made requiring that only official email addresses
be used while conducting Town business.
4. Communication Resolution (Old Business) and Committee. Previous draft resolution will
be discussed.
5. Website Revisions and Future Direction. This agenda item was continued from previous
meetings. The current Civics Plus Contract expires in December. Mayor and Council will
discuss next steps.
6. Electronics Issuance Policy. Policy and relevant documents have been prepared for either
amendment or approval.
7. 2017 Holiday Meeting and Town Hall Schedule. Mayor and Council will discuss the Town
holiday schedule for meetings and events.
8. CDBG PY-44. Mayor and Council will consent to application objectives. Due date in On
October.
9. Mayor and Council Retreat. Confirmed for November 3rd. Mayor and Council discussion on
potential agenda and discussion items.
10. Issues Concerning Previous Minutes. Discussion on the July, August and September
minutes to be approved.
11. Personnel Policy (Leave Conflicts). Current policy revision revised to potentially avoid
leave scheduling conflicts especially during the summer months.
12. Discussion of Recommendations from Ethics Commission. Two versions of the Ethics
Ordinance. The old one is on Code and the latest one is not in General Codes (legislative action)
13. Creation of Diversity - Community Relations Committee. Requested item.
14. Legislative Priorities for This Term. The Mayor has begun a list for the Council to
consider and prioritize.
15. Residential Permit Parking Request. Petition received from residents on 40th Street.

Brentwood International Day, this Saturday, October 7th in Bartlett Park
PGVFD Annual Convention was hosted in Brentwood, September 23rd. Thanks to all who came
out to support.
