AGENDA ITEMS
1. Request to Plant Daffodil Bulbs in the Route 1 Median. The Green Team has made this
request.
2. General Code Modifications per Recommendations. The Mayor and Council will consider
recommendations made by General Code to place the ordinances in line with the most recent
Code structure.
3. Welcome Packet Finalization. Draft document will be reviewed for finalization.
4. Communication Resolution (Old Business) and Committee. Previous draft resolution is
receiving continuing consideration. Item deferred from previous meetings.
5. Maintenance of 38th Street. The Mayor and Council will consider the status of 38th Street
and who should maintain it going forward.
6. Electronics Issuance Policy. At present the document is still with the Attorney. Mayor and
Council will consider his recommendations.
7. Ordinance 2017-08. This ordinance is up for third reading on Nov 15th. Fee changes will be
considered.
8. Mobile Phone Service Transfer from Verizon to T-Mobile. Proposal presented by the Chief
based on the actual number of phones being contracted.
9. Maryland Local Government Infrastructure Finance Program. This is a State sponsored
loan program for local governments. The Treasurer will have a full briefing and the Mayor and
Council will consider her recommendation.
10. Resolution in Support of HUR Restoration. Draft will be considered for editing and
adoption.
11. Municipal Government Works (MGW) Month Proclamation. Draft will be considered for
editing and adoption.
12. Discussion of Recommendations from Ethics Commission. Item continued from
previous meetings.
13. Creation of Diversity - Community Relations Committee. Requested item.
14. Meeting with Delegates to Promote HUR Support. Brentwood, North Brentwood and
Mount Rainier have requested this meeting.
Announcements:
Community Discussion on Brentwood becoming a Welcoming (Sanctuary) Town on Wednesday,
Nov 15th. All residents are encouraged to attend and be heard.
