Village Board of Trustees Regular Meeting May 16, 2018 8:00 p.m. The Regular Meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Briarcliff Manor, New York was held in the Village of Briarcliff Manor at the William J. Vescio Community Center, at 1 Library Road, Briarcliff Manor, New York on the 16th of May, 2018 commencing at 8:00 p.m. Present Lori A. Sullivan, Mayor Cesare DeRose, Jr. Deputy Mayor Kevin Hunt, Trustee Mark L. Wilson, Trustee Bryan Zirman, Trustee Also Present Philip Zegarelli, Village Manager Christine Dennett, Village Clerk Daniel Pozin, Village Attorney David Turiano, Village Engineer Pledge of Allegiance Board of Trustees Announcements by Trustee Wilson  The Library has many upcoming events. Visit the website for more information.  Due to the heroic efforts of Sergeant John Wynne and Officer Eagan a woman was resuscitated on Sleepy Hollow Road.  Day Camp late fees are currently being waived and there is still some room. Register now!  The Village fields are saturated due to the recent rain. Check with Coaches for scheduling.  Applications for Recreation Summer employment were being accepted.  The Spring/Summer Brochure is online.  Sign up for Recreation News and Village News on the Village website.  The Color Run has been moved to Sunday, May 20th. Village Managers Report by Village Manager Zegarelli  There will be a Safe Routes to School field inspection on May 24 th.  The Law Park playground was totally removed and the new one should be installed in June. The large hemlock tree was removed for safety reasons. New trees will be planted in the fall to add shade and color to the area.  Horsechestnut Road paving will begin shortly. 1   Law Park pond dredging and parking lot bids will be awarded at an upcoming meeting.  The 9A/North State Road will be done by Memorial Day.  The Birritella’s corner is largely done with paving left.  DPW will fill some of the potholes on Pleasantville Road temporarily for safety reasons.  The Pocantico River Bridge work is delayed. Paving will be done before the bridge work.  2018/2018 Tax Bills will be out soon  All outstanding water bills have been transferred to tax Public Comments There were no public comments. Stormwater Management Presentation by David Turiano Village Engineer Turiano presented the Annual Stormwater Management Report and explained the five minimum control measures. The Board thanked Mr. Turiano for his presentation. Budget Amendments 2017-2018 Upon motion by Deputy Mayor DeRose, seconded by Trustee Zirman, the Board voted unanimously to approve the following resolution: BE IT RESOLVED that the budget for fiscal year 2017-2018 is hereby amended as follows: CAPITAL PROJECTS PLEASANTVILLE ROAD & NORTH STATE ROAD INCREASE EXPENSE: H1440.201.17220 PLEASANTVILLE & NORTH STATE ROAD $250,000 INCREASE REVENUE: H0101.3097 WESTCHESTER COUNTY GRANT $250,000 UNCLAIMED BAIL MONEY INCREASE REVENUE: A0101.2770 UNCLAIMED BAIL MONEY $115 Minutes 2 Upon motion by Trustee Hunt, seconded by Trustee Wilson, the Board voted unanimously to approve the minutes of April 18, 2018. Adjournment The Work Session scheduled for May 23, 2018 is canceled. The Board sent their condolences to the Wetzel family for the loss of their son.
