CITY OF BRISTOL, TENNESSEE MINUTES OF THE BEER BOARD MEETING March 18, 2020 BOARD MEMBER PRESENT CITY EMPLOYEES PRESENT Mr. Craig Kistner-Chairman Danielle Smith Mr. Ketron- Vice Chairman Captain Walter Brown Mr. Greeson Patty Hicks Mr. Booher Mr. Vance Call to order-At approximately 5:00 pm on March 18, 2020, Mr. Kistner, Chairman of the Beer Board for the City of Bristol, Tennessee, called the meeting to order in the conference room of the Ewell L. Easley Municipal Bldg., located at 104 8th St., Bristol Tennessee. Roll call was taken with all members being present at the meeting. Review of minutes-Board members reviewed minutes from February 19, 2020 meeting and the minutes were approved as read. NEW BUSINESS The Bristol Saloon: Owner Joseph Woltz was present to represent The Bristol Saloon. The Bristol Saloon is located at 3080 W. State St., formerly known as the Bristol Country Club. An application has been completed. All fees have been paid. Education is complete and Alcohol Awareness Training certificate was given by Captain Brown. Motion made by Vice Chairman Ketron to pass new permit. Mr. Vance seconded the motion. Roll call was taken. Motion passed unanimously. Machiavellis: Justin Peters, was present to represent Machiavellis also known as Statice, Inc.. Mr. Peters is seeking a temporary Beer Permit Renewal. i. 2744 Highway 11E, (Earhart - West 1) – Permit# 14-1082 ii. 2745 Highway 11E, (Earhart - East 1) – Permit# 14-1083 iii. 2745 Highway 11E, (Earhart - East 2) – Permit# 14-1084 iv. 2745 Highway 11E, (Earhart - East 3) – Permit# 14-1085 v. 2745 Highway 11E, (Earhart - East 4) – Permit# 14-1086 vi. 2745 Highway 11E, (Earhart - East 5) – Permit# 14-1087 vii. 2745 Highway 11E, (Earhart - East 6) – Permit# 16-2516 viii. 17 5th Street (Machiavelli’s Expanded Area) – Permit #12-4606 Mr. Booher made a motion to pass. Vice Chairman Ketron seconded the motion. Roll call was taken. Motion passed unanimously. Birthplace of Country Music: Representatives not present due to COVID-19. Birthplace of Country Music is requesting a temporary Beer Permit Renewal. i. 17 5th Street (Parking Lot)-Permit #19-6561 ii. 603 Shelby St. (Rhythm and Roots stage area)-Permit # 16-6160 Mr. Booher made a motion to pass. Mr. Vance seconded the motion. Roll call was taken. Motion passed unanimously. OLD BUSINESS-None PENDING BUSINESS-None The next Board Meeting will be held on April 15, 2020. With no further business the meeting was adjourned at approximately 5:12 pm.
