CITY OF BRISTOL, TENNESSEE MINUTES OF THE BEER BOARD MEETING March 15, 2023 BOARD MEMBER PRESENT CITY EMPLOYEES PRESENT Mr. Matt Slagle- Vice Chairman Sgt. Adam Dye Mr. Robert Greeson Mr. Clyde Downs Dr. Mark Hutton Call to order-At approximately 5:03 pm on March 15, 2023, Mr. Slagle, Vice-Chairman of the Beer Board for the City of Bristol, Tennessee, called the meeting to order in the conference room of the Ewell L. Easley Municipal Bldg., located at 104 8th St. Roll call was taken. Review of minutes-Board members reviewed the minutes from the November 16, 2022 meeting. The minutes were approved as read. NEW BUSINESS Machiavelli’s: Justin Peters was present to represent Machiavelli’s. Machiavelli’s is seeking a renewal for temporary Beer Permits for locations around Bristol Motor Speedway located at 151 Speedway Blvd. a. 2745 Highway 11E, (Earhart-East 1)-Permit #14-1083 b. 2745 Highway 11E, (Earhart-East 2)-Permit #14-1084 c. 2745 Highway 11E, (Earhart-East 3)-Permit #14-1087 d. 2745 Highway 11E, (Earhart-East 4)-Permit #14-1086 Dr. Hutton made a motion to pass. Mr. Greeson seconded the motion. Roll call was taken. Motion passed unanimously. OLD BUSINESS Election of Board Members: Dr. Hutton nominated Mr. Slagle as Chairman. Mr. Greeson seconded the motion. Roll call was taken. Motion passed unanimously. Chairman Slagle made a motion to elect Mr. Downs for Vice-Chairman. Dr. Hutton seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously. PENDING BUSINESS The next Board Meeting will be held on April 19, 2023. With no further business the meeting was adjourned at approximately 5:13 pm.
