Minutes of the Bristol Tennessee Cify Council Work Session July 21,2015 The Bristol Tennessee City Council work session was called to order by Mayor Lea Powers on Tuesday, July 2I,20I5 at 12:00 p.m. in the conference room of the Easley Annex Building. Members of City Council present included Mayor Lea Powers, Vice Mayor Chad Keen, Councilwoman Michelle Denise, Councilwoman Margaret Feierabend, and Councilman Jack Young. City staff members present included City Manager Bill Sorah, City Attorney Jack Hyder, Director of Parks and Recreation Terry Napier, Director of Community Relations Terrie Talbert, Director of Administration Mary Lee Williams, and Information Technology Specialist Robert Lucas. Program Manager Ms. Doris Stickley was present representing the Bristol Public Library. In addition, representatives from Bristol Tennessee Essential Services were present including Power Board Chairman Brian Boyd, CEO Dr. Mike Browder, Attorney Tom Davenport, Finance Director Lola McVey, and Operations Manager Clayton Dowell. The agenda for the meeting included the following items for discussion, with no formal action being taken. 1. Bristol Public Library - Adult Learning Lab and Homer and Ida Jones Creativity Center 2. Funding Agreement for Construction of Splash Pad at Steele Creek Park 3. Vendor Agreement of Parks and Recreation Concessions 4.
