Minutes of the Bristol Tennessee Cify Council Work Session September 15, 2015 The Bristol Tennessee City Council work session was called to order by Mayor Lea Powers on Tuesday, September 1,5, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. in the conference room of the Easley Annex Building. Members of City Council present included Mayor Lea Powers, Vice Mayor Chad Keen, Councilwoman Michelle Denise, Councilwoman Margaret Feierabend, and Councilman Jack Young. In addition, representatives of the Bristol Tennessee Industrial Development Board, Bristol Motor Speedway, and C.H. Johnson Consulting, Inc. were in attendance. City staff members present included City Manager Bill Sorah, City Attorney Jack Hyder, Corporation Counsel Danielle Kiser, Director of Parks and Recreation Teny Napier, Director of Community Relations Terrie Talbert, Director of Administration Mary Lee Williams, Director of Public Works Tim Beavers, Police Chief Blaine Wade, and Information Technology Manager Greg Cross. The agenda for the meeting included the following items for discussion, with no formal action being taken. 1. Presentation by C.H. Johnson Consulting, Inc. - Event Center Feasibility Study 2. Discussion of Community Branding Campaign 3.
