Minutes of the Bristol Tennessee City Council Work Session July 24, 2018 The Bristol Tennessee City Council work session was called to order by Mayor Margaret Feierabend on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 5:35 p.m. in the conference room of the Easley Annex Building. Members of City Council present included Mayor Margaret Feierabend, Vice Mayor Michelle Denise, Councilman Chad Keen, and Councilman Jack Young. City staff members present included City Manager Bill Sorah, City Attorney Danielle Kiser, Director of Economic Development Tom Anderson, Director of Administration Mary L. Williams, Director of Parks and Recreation Terry Napier, Director of Community Relations Terrie Talbert, and IT Manager Shane Varney. In addition, Chamber of Commerce Board President Jerry Caldwell, CEO Beth Rhinehart, Convention and Visitors Bureau Executive Director Courtney Cacatian, Friendship Enterprises President Mitch Walters, and Shari Brown of J.A. Street and Associates were in attendance. The agenda for the meeting included the following items for discussion, with no formal action being taken. 1. Presentation by Discover Bristol 2. Presentation of Centre Pointe, LLC Development Plan 3. Discussion of Appointments to Boards and Commissions 4. Discussion of Property to be Acquired for Middle School Construction 5.
