Minutes of the Bristol Tennessee City Council Work Session August 27,20t9 The Bristol Tennessee City Council work session was called to order by Mayor Margaret Feierabend on Tuesday, August 27,2019 at 5:34 p.m. in the conference room of the Ewell Easley Municipal Annex Building. Members of City Council present included Mayor Margaret Feierabend, Vice Mayor Mahlon Luttrell, Councilman Chad Keen, CouncilwomanLea Powers, and Councilman Vince Turner. City staff members present included City Manager Bill Sorah, City Attorney Danielle Smith, Director of Development Services Tim Beavers, Director of Economic Development Tom Anderson, Director of Community Relations Terrie Talbert, Director of Parks and Recreation Terry Napier, Director of Finance Tara Musick, Planning Services Manager Cherith Young, Community Relations Specialist Anne Duncan, and Information Technology Specialist Greg Cross. In addition, Scott Gibson, financial advisor with Cumberland Securities, was present. The agenda for the meeting included the following items for discussion, with no formal action being taken. 1. Discussion of Proposed Refunding of General Obligation Debt 2. Construction Bid for Lakeview Drive Sewage Pump Station Improvements J. Discussion of Zoning Text Amendment for Electronic Message Boards 4.
