Minutes of the Bristol Tennessee City Council \ilork Session October 29,2019 The Bristol Tennessee City Council work session was called to order by Mayor Margaret Feierabend on Tuesday, October 29,2019 at II:02 p.m. in the conference room of the Ewell Easley Municipal Annex Building. Members of City Council present included Mayor Margaret Feierabend, Vice Mayor Mahlon Luttrell, Councilman Chad Keen, Councilwoman Lea Powers, and Councilman Vince Turner. City staff members present included City Manager Bill Sorah, City Attorney Danielle Smith, Director of Development Services Tim Beavers, Director of Economic Development Tom Anderson, Director of Parks and Recreation Terry Napier, Director of Finance Tara Musick, Director of Community Relations Jon Luttrell, Police Major Tim Eads, and Police Captain V/alter Brown. The agenda for the meeting included the following items for discussion, with no formal action being taken. 1. Discussion of Permit Parking for Downtown Parking Spaces 2. Discussion of Animal Control Ordinance - Tethering Restrictions 3. Discussion of On-Premises Sale of Beer in Movie Theaters 4. Discussion of Bristol TN/VA Joint Planning Commission In addition, there was considerable discussion of economic development policy and incentives There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at2:27 p,m.
