MINUTES OF THE CITY OF BRISTOL,TENNESSEE CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION June 23,2020 The City of Bristol, Tennessee City Council Called Work Session was called to order by Mayor Margaret Feierabend on June 23, 2020 at 11:01 a.m. at the Slater Community Center. Present were Mayor Margaret Feierabend, Vice Mayor Mahlon Luttrell, Councilman Chad Keen, Councilwoman Lea Powers, and Councilman VInce Turner. Others present were City Manager William L. Sorah, City Attorney Danielle Smith, Director of Development Services Tim Beavers, Director of Economic Development Tom Anderson, Director of Community Relations Jon Luttrell, Director of Parks and Recreation Terry Napier, Director of Administration Mary Lee Williams, Fire Chief Mike Carrier, Community Development Specialist Christina Blevins, Planning Services Manager Cherith Young, and other members of City staff. The agenda for the meeting included the following items for discussion, with no formal action being taken. 1. Discussion of Appropriation Agreements for Non-Profit Organizations 2. Discussion of Appropriation of COVID-19 Community Development Block Grant Funds 3. Discussion of Design Standards for Commercial Property 4. Discussion of Residential Development Incentives 5. Discussion of Purchase and Sale Agreement for Former Aurora Property 6. Discussion of Purchase and Sale Agreement for Former Bristol Products Property There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 2:11 p.m. by Mayor Feierabend. Mayor Tara E.
