Minutes of the Bristol Tennessee Called City Council Meeting June 28, 2022 The called City Council meeting was brought to order by Mayor Mahlon Luttrell on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 11 :01 a.m . in the conference room of the Ewell Easley Municipal Annex. Members of City Council present included Mayor Mahlon Luttrell , Vice Mayor Vi nce Turner, Council woman Margaret Feierabend, and Counci lwoman Lea Powers. C ity staff members present inc luded City Manager Bill Sorah, City Attorney Danielle Smi th, Director of Planning Cheri th Young, Director of Admini stration Mary Lee Williams, Director of Community Relations Jon Luttrell, Director of Economi c Development Tom Anderson, Director of Finance Hollie Verran, Director of Utility Services Will Witcher, Director of Parks and Recreation Terry Napier and Information Technology Director Shane Varney. AGENDA Public Hearing - Ordinance 22-10 City Manager Bill Sorah summarized Ordinance 22- 10 as it related to the amendment of the Fiscal 2022 budget. Mayor Luttre ll opened the fl oor for publ ic comment. There was no public comment on Ordinance 22- 10 and Mayor Luttrell closed the pub! ic hearing. Ordinances and Resolutions - Ordinance 22-10 Amending Appropriation of Funds and Budget for Fiscal Year July 1, 2021 through June 30, 2022 Motion fo r approval of Ordinance 22- 10 was made by Vice Mayor Vince Turner and the motion was seconded by Counci lwoman Lea Powers. The motion passed unanimously. Ordinances and Resolutions - Resolution 22-53 Adopting Amended and Restated Rules and Procedures of the City Council City Manager Bill Sorah summarized the proposed reso lution amending the Rules and Procedure of the City Council. City Council discussed potential starting times for both the monthly business meeting and work sessions. A motion was made by Councilwoman Feierabend to table action on Resolution 22-53 until the July 12th meeting. Councilwoman Powers seconded the motion. T he motion passed unanimously.
