Recognize Guests No guests present ITEM 3. Minutes of Previous Meetings for June 16, 2020 No corrections, approved as presented. ITEM 4. Financials A. Receipts & Expenditures Crystal will get with board members next week to get everything signed from July and to this point in August. B. Treasurer’s Report Ms. Key reviewed the balance sheet, monthly financial and monthly budget reports. Tim Eads made a motion, seconded by Jim Messimer to approve the report as presented. Roll call vote as follows: Eads – yes, Elliott – yes, Honaker – yes, Messimer – yes, Miller – a/e, Ring – a/e, Wade – yes. Motion passed. ITEM 5. Old Business A. Report on Operations & Equipment 1. Overview of Operations a. Daily Operations – For several weeks in July, all Verizon 911 calls in Sullivan County, Washington County, Hawkins County, and Kingsport were coming to our center. This put quite a strain on us, as it almost doubled our call load. The issue has been corrected and resolved. We are experiencing more and more problems with our 911 equipment. We are out of contract, so each time we call Century Link, it is chargeable. Motorola is working on our new equipment, it just takes time, I have advised them that the sooner the better. b. Statistics Ms. Key reviewed the months of June and July 2020. ITEM 6. New Business A. No New Business ITEM 7. Discussion Items Chairman Blaine Wade asked for an update on the 911 equipment at the backup PSAP. The 911 equipment at the backup site will be upgraded at the same time as the equipment at the primary site. At this time, expecting the new equipment in September or October. This item will move to Old Business until the equipment is received and everything is working. ITEM 8. Other Matters Crystal has been working with the auditor. The auditor should have everything they need. ITEM 9. Citizens and Delegations Presentation - None ITEM 10. Next meeting September 16, 2020 via conference call.
