Recognize Guests – Walter Brown, Police Major ITEM 3. Minutes of Previous Meeting for January 18, 2023 The minutes were approved as presented. ITEM 4. Financials A. Receipts & Expenditures B. Bank reconciliations & Journal entries Bank statements and reconciliations were presented for January. There were no journal entries in the month of January. C. Treasurer’s Report David Ring reviewed the balance sheet, monthly financial and monthly budget reports for January. Bank statements and reconciliations were presented for January. There were no journal entries in the month of January. E. Wampler made a motion, seconded by D. Honaker, to approve the report as presented. Roll call vote as follows: Brumlik – yes, Dye – yes, Elliott – yes, Honaker – yes, Ring – yes, Wampler – yes, Wade – yes. Motion passed. ITEM 5. Old Business A. Report on Operations & Equipment 1. Overview of Operations a. Daily Operations - Equipment wise, things are going well. b. Personnel – We have 1 new hire in training. Testing February 8th. B. Maturing CD – CD ending in 7513 will be reaching maturity March 1. Much discussion was held about different options. A motion was made by Eddie Wampler to empower the director to negotiate with First Horizon Bank and Citizens Bank to get the best rate and terms and roll all savings accounts to the best rate and terms. Second made by W. Elliott. Roll call vote as follows: Brumlik – yes, Dye – yes, Elliott – yes, Honaker – yes, Ring – yes, Wampler – yes, Wade – yes. Motion passed. ITEM 7.
