City Council

CITY OF BRITT – BRITT IOWA – December 21st, 2021 The City Council of the City of Britt, Iowa met in pursuant to law and the rules of said Council in a special council session at 7:00 o’clock P.M. the 21st day of December 2021. The meeting was called to order by Mayor Arndorfer, and the following Council members were: PRESENT: Curt Gast, Stacy Swenson, and Karrie Wallen ABSENT: Paul Verbrugge and Chad Luecht The Mayor presented the agenda for approval. It was moved by Swenson and seconded by Wallen to approve the agenda. Motion carried by unanimous vote. Present to be heard was Deanna Kelly. Kelly was looking for assistance in filling out grants for the building above Kelly Real Estate and The Hobo Museum. There was water damage to her building, and she really like to fix the building above so there is no further damage. City Clerk Elizabeth Ibarra was not present. In her place is Marcy Mayland, who presented the report. Mayland presented the Reprecincting and the Boundary Agreement worksheet for Council’s Approval. It was motioned by Swenson and second by Gast to approve the Reprecincting and the Boundary Agreement worksheet. The Motioned Carried. With no further business, it was moved by Gast and seconded by Swenson to adjourn the meeting.
