SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING IN BRITT COUNCIL CHAMBERS ON TUESDAY JUNE 20th, 2023, 5:30 P.M. 1) OPENING BUSINESS a. Call meeting to order. Minutes: The meeting was called to order by Mayor Pro-Tem Curt Gast b. Roll call. Minutes: Present were Stacy Swenson, Karrie Wallen, and Abby Post. Absent was Ashley Weiss. c. Pledge of Allegiance d. Conflict of Interest (state if applicable) e. Approval of Agenda Minutes: It was motioned by Swenson and second by Post to approve the minutes. 2) PUBLIC HEARING a. Proposal to Sell Real Estate at Sunset Ridge Division Minutes: The public hearing opened at 5:31 pm. There were no written or verbal comments. The hearing closed at 5:34pm. 3) CLERK REPORT a. Resolution 21-2023 Selling lots at Sunset Ridge Minutes: Resolution 21-2023 Selling lots at Sunset Ridge for $1.00 each and where qualified buyers pay for the survey and abstract of title. The Resolution was offered by Wallen and second by Swenson. A roll call vote was held. Which was as follows: Ayes: Swenson, Gast, Wallen, and Post. The Resolution was passed and adopted. b. July Council Meeting Date Change Minutes: It was motioned by Swenson and second by Wallen to change the July 4th Council Meeting to July 6th at 7 p.m. Motion carried unanimously. 4) ADJORN Minutes: It was motioned by Swenson and second by Post to adjourn the meeting.
