ADJOURNMENT Page 1 of 15  Committee Item Memo Meeting Date: May 28, 2024 Staff Contact: Luke Gundersen, Director of Parks and Recreation Department: Parks and Recreation Subject: Final Design & Development Approval of the Open Space Land Acquisition and Development (OSLAD) Grant for the Redevelopment of the Ehlert Park Phase III Project Background Information: The Open Space Lands Acquisition and Development (OSLAD) Program is a state-financed grant program that provides funding assistance to local government agencies for acquisition and/or development of land for public parks and open space. Since the approved execution of contract with Wight & Company in March of 2024, Village staff has been able work collaboratively with Wight and Company to complete more specific design development pieces, and move toward completion of permitting and bid documents for ground breaking in July of 2024. Highlighted items include:  Aerial Park Layout  ADA accessible Playground option chosen by residents.  New baseball field  New Pavilion Shelter  New game and ping pong tables  New gaga ball pit  New Soccer Field  Renovated Memorial The attachments provide the visual to the above design elements. Financial Impact: No change from OSLAD Contract execution. Budget total $1,300,000.
