MINUTES Special Village Board Meeting 4:00 PM - Monday, August 16, 2021 Edward Barcal Hall 8820 Brookfield Avenue Brookfield, IL 60513 The Village Board of the Village of Brookfield was called to order on Monday, August 16, 2021, at 4:00 PM, in the Edward Barcal Hall 8820 Brookfield Avenue Brookfield, IL 60513, with the following members present: PRESENT: Village President Michael Garvey (Via Teleconference), Trustee Edward Cote, Trustee Kathryn Kaluzny, Trustee Kit Ketchmark, Trustee David LeClere and Deputy Village Clerk George Issakoo EXCUSED: Trustee Brian Conroy, Trustee Jennifer Hendricks, and Village Clerk Brigid Weber ALSO Village Manager Timothy Wiberg and Recreation Director Stevie Ferrari PRESENT: 1 OPENING CEREMONIES: PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG 2 ROLL CALL 3 PUBLIC COMMENT 4 REGULAR BUSINESS a) Consideration of a Resolution Authorizing the Execution of an Intergovernmental Agreement Between Lyons School District 103 and the Village of Brookfield Trustee Ketchmark asked about the start date for the program and about the hiring procedure. Parks and Recreation Director Stevie Ferrari noted that the program will commence on August 23, 2021 and that advertisement for the instructor positions has been ongoing since the summer and have nine candidates in the queue.
