NOTICE OF RESIDENT MEETING
Traffic Calming Program Request
Robinwood Street
The City of Brookfield adopted Neighborhood Traffic Calming Guidelines in July 2008. You are being
notified because the City has received a concern regarding a traffic problem in your neighborhood on
Robinwood Street from 124th Street to Elm Grove Road. The City has determined that the concern is
eligible for the traffic calming process. Therefore, the City has scheduled an initial meeting with the
residents that identified the traffic concern through your Aldermen, Kathryn Wilson and Brad Blumer.
Please Attend
The initial goal of the meeting is for the City staff to explain the Neighborhood Traffic Calming
Guidelines to provide a clear understanding of the program and its process.
The second goal of the meeting is to define in detail, with the help of City staff members, the
perceived traffic problem and complete the Neighborhood Traffic Calming Guidelines
application form. An application was already submitted, however, a survey will be mailed after
the meeting to determine if at least 50% of residents along Robinwood Street have a traffic
concern. A completed application must include a response from at least 50% of the households
indicating a traffic concern on the street segment described in the application.
More information about the City’s Traffic Calming Policy and Application can be found on the
City’s website: http://www.ci.brookfield.wi.us/DocumentView.asp?DID=990.
The final goal of the meeting is for the City staff to provide information on how and when the
process will continue.
The traffic concern meeting will be held in the Council Chambers, Brookfield City Hall, 2000
North Calhoun Road on Tuesday, August 10th, 2021 at 6:00pm.
