Because of the layout of my property—specifically where our main exit doors are located—a rear-yard only fence does not provide safe or adequate access for our pets. I am requesting a variance to for the following reasons: the side fence would allow my dogs to safely use the side yard. I would attach a dog gate from the fence to the side door. I do not want to drill through the concrete patio, therefore, I would use a secure dog gate from the fence to the side door. Also: Safety & Welfare: A side yard enclosure allows my dogs to exit the home directly into a secure area without running the risk of darting into the street or driveway. Hardship: The placement of my home's side doors makes a strictly rear-yard fence impractical for safely letting the dogs out. Neighborhood Consistency: Similar fences are present in the surrounding neighborhood, and my proposed fence will be installed completely on my property while maintaining a safe line-of- sight for traffic. I have sent a detailed site plan, property survey, and specifications of the proposed fence material for your review. Thank you for your time and consideration of my request.  SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS Size, Height, Location and Sketch of all conditions pertinent to this appeal: Plot Plan showing location of all buildings on property and all conditions pertinent to this appeal and adjoining properties: © 2003 - 2026 ONLINE SOLUTIONS, LLC Terms of Use (https://www6.citizenserve.com/Portal/TermsofUse.pdf) Privacy Policy (https://www6.citizenserve.com/Portal/PrivacyPolicy.pdf) Page 5 of2/210 https://www6.citizenserve.com/Portal/PortalController?Action=viewPortalCase&type=Permit&workOrder_ID=91669231&permit_ID=53431852&ctzPag… 853 Saybrook D 18/202 Cynthia O 1Z 83 Saybrook pr, Bo klyn, ynortiz7 Dyah o com Csha Angel Ort2 21 8530 Saybr kD ive 4494 21 lack ving (intoincluded) 4 (48 $230 Cinthii h brten Page 6 of 10 Page 7 of 10 Σ SIDEWALK Page 8 of 10 Board of Zoning Appeals (Thursday June 18, 2026) Generated by Chara Barton on Monday June 22, 2026 Meeting called to order at 6:00 PM OPENING Roll Call Members Present Earl Bloam, Wally Parker, Karam Hasrouni, Craig Farkus, Nick Maroulis MINUTES APPROVAL Action, Minutes: Approval of Minutes To Approve: Earl Bloam, Wally Parker, Craig Farkus, Karam Hasrouni REQUESTS: Chris Joseph of Ryan Homes is requesting a variance to increase the permitted approved height from the 35ft maximum building height to 41 ft within the Memphis Run Communities.
