CITY OF BROOKLYN CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 17, 2026 4:00 P.M.
Meeting called to order at 4:00 p.m. by Commissioner Sefchik
MEMBERS PRESENT: Commissioner Sefchik, Commissioner Barrow
MEMBERS ABSENT: Chairperson Patta
MOTION by Commissioner Sefchik, second by Commissioner Barrow to approve the
minutes of the regular meeting on May 20, 2026.
VOTE RESULTED: Yeas- Sefchik, Barrow. Nays-None.
MOTION by Commissioner Sefchik, second by Commissioner Barrow to approve the
updated certified eligibility list for Patrol Officer.
VOTE RESULTED: Yeas- Sefchik, Barrow. Nays-None.
Commissioner Sefchik asked if the Fire Chief Paul has decided if he wants to conduct an
exam this year? Secretary Westfall explained that Chief is still deciding on a date but yes,
he’d like one after the summer.
With no further business, MOTION by Commissioner Sefchik, second by Commissioner
Barrow to adjourn.
VOTE RESULTED: Yeas –Sefchik, Barrow. Nays – None.
Meeting adjourned at 4:06 p.m.
