The Brownsburg Board of Zoning Appeals convened at 7:00 PM with a moment of silence and the Pledge
of Allegiance. Michael Neal opened the meeting, and a roll call was taken.
Members Present: Maria Andrews, Ben Lacey, Mike Neal and Chris Worley
Members Absent: David Emery

Motion: Chris Worley made a motion to APPROVE the November 9, 2020 regular meeting
minutes, seconded by Ben Lacey, motion carried 4 In Favor/0 Opposed/0 Abstained.

Motion: Ben Lacey made a motion to APPROVE Findings of Fact for BZSE-10-20-1852, seconded
by Maria Andrews, motion carried 4 In Favor/0 Opposed/0 Abstained.

Mike Neal informed the Board that the Applicant had submitted a written request for a
continuance to the February meeting to allow for the rezoning petition on the subject property to
be considered by the Brownsburg Plan Commission prior to the variances being considered .
Motion: Ben Lacey made a motion to CONTINUE BZDV-11-20-1861, BZDV-11-20-1862 and
BZDV-11-20-1863, seconded by Chris Worley, motion carried 4 In Favor/0 Opposed/0 Abstained.

1. Board Member Resignation
Todd Barker informed the Board that David Emery had moved out of Brownsburg and thereby
resigned his seat on the Board of Zoning Appeals. Mike Neal said interviews were currently being
held for new Board and Commission members and he hope the vacancy would be filled by the
next meeting. Elections would be held for President and Vice President at that time as well.
J. CITIZENS COMMENTS RELATING TO AGENDA
1. Cindy Hohman asked the Board to do personal research on future cases.
