Mr. Rodrigo Moreno calls the meeting to Order.
2.) Public Comment Period.
No public comments.
3.) Consideration and action regarding the Brownsville Production Directory (FilmBTX.com)
to be limited exclusively to Brownsville, Texas listings.
Mr. Rodrigo Moreno moves to approve, Mr. Rene Rhi seconds, all in favor. Motion passes.
4.) Brownsville Border Film Commission Officer Marketing Update (Maria Rentrop)
Mrs. Maria Rentrop shares the proposed marketing plan for the Brownsville Border Film Commission—
it includes digital marketing, social media, video, and wraps for park benches— adding that this plan is in
collaboration with City of Brownsville Departments such as BCVB and Parks and Recreation. In addition
to marketing plan Mrs. Maria Rentrop informs that FilmBTX can be found at visitbtx.com and
locationexpo.com.
