b. Adult Services
i. Book Donation for Existing Mobile Libraries – Mr. Jose Gonzalez did a
presentation on the three (3) little libraries that the library donated books
to. First was Prax Orive Sunrise Park, which is located on Palm Blvd. The
second park was Harry E. McNair Park located on St. Charles St. The
third park was Joe & Tony Olivera Park located by Pace High School. The
library left several books at each location and plan to continue and to add
different locations to the list.
c. MakerSpace Services
i. Utilization of Services – Mr. Lazaro Castro did a presentation on the
updates for MakerSpace. He stated that 3D printing is continuing to grow
both from patrons and internal departments. The heat press, Cricut, and

required to bring all materials needed for this service, or they must
purchase the items from the library. The usage is set by appointments. The
library is also working with other city departments to extend promotion of
services. For the moment patrons are using the MakerSpace advisor
computers, but the library is working on getting computers dedicated to
these services. Interest has come from patrons of all ages. MakerSpace is

participants from STEAM week returning to finish their projects.

for individuals who could answer specific questions. The library also participated

information on working at the library.
