CONSENT AGENDA Approval of matters that are routine in nature that require review and/or approval, i.e. minutes and reports. PUBLIC COMMENT Citizen participation where the public can sign up prior to the start of the meeting in order to speak up to 3 minutes for matters not on the agenda or for agenda items not scheduled for Public Hearing. Nevertheless, Board members will always retain the right to ask questions of the speaker and to respond then or at a later time to remarks made by any citizen. VII. BUSINESS ITEMS A. Chaffee County Community Foundation – 2021 Community Grant Program Executive Director Joseph Teipel will provide the Trustees with a proposal for the management of the Town’s 2021 Community Grant Program. (Estimated time - 10 minutes) B. Fee Waiver Policy and July Special Sustainability Plan The Board with consider approving amendments to the Fee Waiver Policy, and limiting extra Special Events on Independence Day. Water and Upzoning Policy The Board will consider options for a Water and Upzoning Policy. (Estimated time - 20 minutes) D. Cost Recovery for Town Public Improvements for the Alley in Block 21 The Board will receive information on the development of the alley in Block 21 between Main and Cedar Streets and between Court and Beldan Streets. (Estimated time – 15 minutes) E. Resolution establishing penalty assessments for the recently adopted ordinance allowing penalty assessments for certain nuisance/code violations. The Board will consider adopting penalty assessments for certain nuisance/code violations. (Estimated time - 5 minutes) Should the Board of Trustees approve adoption of Resolution No. 63, Series 2020, entitled, “A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA, COLORADO, APPROVING A SCHEDULE OF FINES FOR PENALTY ASSESSMENTS FOR CERTAIN MUNICIPAL CODE VIOLATIONS.”? F. Draft of the 2021 Fee Schedule The Board will review the proposed changes to the Town of Buena Vista 2021 Fee schedule. (Estimated time - 20 minutes) G. Public Hearing – 2021 Budget Hearing The Board will hold a hearing on the 2021 Proposed Budget to discuss budget requests. (Estimated time - 20 minutes) H. Colorado Parks and Wildlife Grant Resolution – Whipple Trail and Bridge Reconstruction The Board will consider adopting Resolution No. 64 supporting the grant application for a non- motorized state trails grant from Colorado Parks and Wildlife to fund trail construction and restoration in the Whipple trails area. (Estimated time - 5 minutes) Should the Board of Trustees approve adoption of Resolution No. 64, Series 2020, entitled, “A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA, COLORADO, SUPPORTING THE GRANT APPLICATION FOR A NON-MOTORIZED STATE TRAILS GRANT FROM COLORADO PARKS AND WILDLIFE TO FUND TRAIL CONSTRUCTION AND RESTORATION IN THE WHIPPLE TRAILS AREA.”?
