Community Engagement & Master Planning Proposal for Town-Owned Property Near Collegiate Commons Joseph Teipel from Chaffee County Community Foundation will present a plan for a stakeholder engagement process, market study, and funding scan to lay the groundwork for the development of the two Town-owned parcels near Collegiate Commons, focused on priorities of housing, childcare, and economic development. (Estimated time – 20 minutes) B. Street Improvement Projects Adoption of Resolution No. 27, Series 2021 entitled, “A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA, COLORADO, APPROVING A NOTICE OF AWARD TO S & S UNLIMITED FOR THE 2021 STREET PAVING PROJECTS. The Board will consider approving the Notice of Award to S & S Unlimited for the asphalt repair and installation portions of the Street Improvement Projects. (Estimated time – 5 minutes) C. Code Enforcement on Flags and Elections Signs Adoption of Ordinance No. 09, Series 2021 entitled, “AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE SIGN CODE PROVISISONS IN CHAPTER 16 CONCERNING YARD SIGNS DURING ELECTION SEASON AND FLAGS. The Board will consider approving an amendment to the Municipal Code regarding flags and yards signs. (Estimated time – 5 minutes) IX. TRUSTEE/STAFF INTERACTION The Board discusses items with staff and staff can bring up matters not on the agenda. X. EXECUTIVE SESSION An executive session to consider the purchase, acquisition, lease, transfer, or sale of a real, personal, or other property interest, pursuant to C.R.S. 24-6-402(4)(a), specifically concerning the potential sale of the Town’s fire station.
