BUSINESS ITEMS A. Nomination to Chaffee Housing Authority Board of Directors The Trustees will consider appointing Michal Rosenoer to the Chaffee Housing Authority Board. (Estimated time – 5 minutes) B. Colorado Parks and Wildlife Non-Motorized Trail Grant Adoption of Resolution No. 39, Series 2021 entitled, “A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA, COLORADO, SUPPORTING THE GRANT APPLICATION FOR A NON-MOTORIZED STATE TRAILS GRANT FROM COLORADO PARKS AND WILDLIFE TO FUND TRAIL RESTORATION IN THE WHIPPLE TRAILS AREA.”? The Board will consider adopting Resolution No. 39, supporting the Colorado Parks and Wildlife Non- Motorized Trail Grant application to fund restoration in the Whipple Trail Area. (Estimated time – 5 minutes) C. Land and Water Conservation Fund Grant Adoption of Resolution No. 40, Series 2021 entitled, “A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES FOR THE TOWN OF BUENA VISTA, COLORADO, SUPPORTING THE GRANT APPLICATION FOR A LAND AND WATER CONSERVATION FUND GRANT TO FUND ACCESSIBLE TRAIL CONSTRUCTION, A NEW PICKLEBALL COURTS FACILITY AND SINGLETRACK DEVELOPMENT IN THE BUENA VISTA RIVER PARK AREA.”? The Board will consider adopting Resolution No. 40, supporting the Land and Water Conservation Fund Grant to fund accessible trail construction, a new pickleball courts facility, and singletrack development in the River Park area. (Estimated time – 5 minutes) D. Letter of Support – GOCO All Lands Camping Plan The Board will consider approving the signing of the GOCO All Lands Camping Plan Letter of Support. (Estimated time – 5 minutes) E. Public Hearing – Short-Term Rental Policy Adoption of Ordinance No. 15, Series 2021 entitled, “AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CERTAIN SECTIONS OF ARTICLES II and VII OF CHAPTER 6 OF THE BUENA VISTA MUNICIPAL CODE CONCERNING SHORT-TERM RENTALS.”? The Board will continue the public hearing to consider amending sections of Chapter 6 concerning short- term rental licensing to incorporate new policies addressing community character, outside investment of housing stock, and STRs as an economic driver for the local community. (Estimated time – 30 minutes) IX. TRUSTEE/STAFF INTERACTION The Board discusses items with staff, and staff can bring up matters, not on the agenda. X.
